Scottish Property Centre would like to inform our customers that we are monitoring and following advice from the Scottish and UK governments in relation to COVID-19 (Coronaviris). We would like to reassure you that the safety and wellbeing of our staff, customers and tenants is of the utmost importance to us.
Firstly, it is business as usual and we continue to service our clients' properties for sale and rent to the highest standards. As I am sure all our customers will understand, we have had to implement precautionary measures to minimise the impact of COVID-19.
In addition to our staff maintaining the highest hygiene standards, with immediate effect, we will be qualifying all appointments whether they be property appraisals, sales and rental viewings or office appointments. We would be grateful for your patience while we ascertain whether you are symptomatic or have been in close contact with someone who is symptomatic.
Should any of our customers, or anyone they live, with be self-isolating we regret that we cannot attend your property to undertake an appraisal. However, we would be delighted to make an appointment to conduct an appraisal via Skype, Whatsapp or Facetime in order that you can receive the appropriate information. Alternatively, we would be happy to rebook a face-to-face appointment once you are out of self-isolation.
During valuations, our staff have been instructed to not shake hands and the Scottish Government has recommended introducing social distancing measurers of at least two metres. We have instructed our staff to observe these recommendations.
As stated above, we will be asking all sales and rental viewers to confirm that they are not symptomatic or have been in close contact with someone who is symptomatic.
Anyone currently booked to view a property we're marketing will be contacted to ascertain whether they, or anyone they have been in close contact with, are symptomatic. If so, unfortunately the viewings cannot proceed and we will rearrange once they are out of self-isolation.
During viewings, our staff have been instructed to not shake hands and observe social distancing measures.
Anyone attending any of our offices for an appointment, regardless of the reason for their visit, will be asked to confirm that they are not symptomatic or have been in close contact with someone who is symptomatic. If they are or have been, unfortunately the appointment cannot proceed.
Similarly, anyone attending any of our offices is asked not to shake hands with any member of staff and to observe a social distance of at least two metres.
Prior to entering properties, our staff and contractors will either wash their hands or use hand sanitiser and surgical gloves where appropriate. We would ask vendors and tenants to assist us by leaving all internal doors open to minimise the number of surfaces being touched. Upon leaving each property, our staff and contractors will either wash their hands or use hand sanitiser.
