COVID-19 Information and Protocol for Owners and Viewers

04/07/2020 14:08:17

The 29th June marked the official reopening of the property market in Scotland and, if the first week is anything to go by, we are in for a busy time ahead.

A dedicated team have spent the last three months working remotely to keep you moving but we are excited to now be back in our branches.

As we can now carry out face to face valuations and viewings, we will be doing so whilst following strict social distancing guidelines.

If you want to discuss the best and safest way for you to view a property or have an appraisal carried out on your own home, then please just get in touch with your local branch and we will be happy to discuss your options.

Below is a summary of our COVID-19 safety protocol.

This is not a return to normality

The process of finding and moving into a new home is different from before COVID-19.  Those involved in the process will have to adapt practices and procedures to ensure that the risk of spread of COVID-19 is reduced as far as possible.  This will include doing more of the process online, such as virtual viewings and ensuring that you continue to follow advice on physical distancing, hand washing and respiratory hygiene.

When Booking a Valuation or Viewing.

  • Please make it known if you are in the shielding / vulnerable category
  • Do NOT book a valuation or viewing should you or a member of your household be displaying any signs of Coronavirus (COVID-19), however mild OR been asked to self-isolate.

On Day of Valuation or Viewing
